Which platform version of DWorld can I access?

Our registered users will be able to access the alpha version of our platform. We’re still an early stage company and we would need your support in order to enhance our platform’s development.
Therefore, once you’ll receive your exclusive access to DWorld’s Metaverse platform and you’ll explore Monaco, don’t hesitate to contact us for any feedback regarding how we can improve your experience.

How can I access DWorld?

To be able to access DWorld, you would need to first complete your registration. Afterwards, simply log in to your account in the DWorld website and you will be able to access the DWorld download links in your ‘My Account’ page.

How do I install DWorld?

Windows:

1. After downloading the installer, locate the zipped file and right-click to extract. 
2. Inside the extracted folder, you will find the installer setup. 
3. Double-click on the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
4. Once the installation is complete, you can run the app.

3. On the first time you run the app, a notification might appear that it’s from an unrecognized developer.
4. When that happens, open your mac’s System Settings and go to Security & Privacy.
5. Under the General tab, you should be able to see a notice about the DWorld app being blocked. 
6. Press ‘Allow’, and when you try to run the DWorld app again, you should be able to enter it.

Which cities can I explore?

Currently, you will be able to explore and experience the city of Monaco within our Metaverse platform. We are focusing on first recreating all the main districts within the Principality of Monaco for then expanding to other cities.

Is DWorld a single player or multiplayer platform?

DWorld provides an immersive multiplayer experience. Therefore, you’ll meet different people from all over the world while potentially making new friends.

Is my device supported?

Initially it would be best for our users to have an Oculus Quest connected via an Oculus link or USB C cable to a PC.
The PC must feature a graphic card superior to an NVIDIA RTX2060.
We are still developing the platform to make it as compatible as possible with all devices and make DWorld cross-platform.

For PC Users:

To run the DWorld Application on your PC with recommended performance and graphics quality, you will need to meet the following software and hardware specifications:
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD FX 8350
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
Storage: 20 GB available space

To run the DWorld Application in VR mode on your PC, you will need the following:
An Oculus VR headset, such as the Oculus Quest 2, Oculus Rift S, or Oculus Rift.
The Oculus PC software installed on your PC. You can download it from https://www.oculus.com/setup/.
A compatible cable or wireless adapter to connect your headset to your PC. You can check the compatibility of your cable or adapter here.

For Mac Users:

To run the DWorld Application on your Mac with recommended performance and graphics quality, you will need to meet the following software and hardware specifications:

Intel-Based Macs:
OS: macOS 10.14 Mojave or later
Processor: Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD FX 8350
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 580
Storage: 20 GB available space

Apple Silicon-Based Macs:
OS: macOS 11.0 or later
Processor: Apple M1 chip
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Storage: 20 GB available space

Do I need a virtual wallet?

To access the platform you won’t be forced to have a virtual wallet, you can still access just with your DWorld account. However, if you would like to start making purchases within the Metaverse, you’ll need to register also with an Algorand wallet.
